Barnes Acre was developed on land adjacent to Normandy Farm acquired from the Duchy of Cornwall and were completed in February 2008.
The homes have ground source heat pumps providing heating and hot water and wood burning stoves. All properties are connected to a rainwater harvesting system which collects rainwater and recycles it for use in flushing toilets etc. The properties have allocated parking bays.
