At Cornwall Rural Housing Association our vision is to provide homes to make life better and we are now looking for a temporary new team member to join us. 

Our customers are at the heart of what we do providing excellent and customer focussed repairs and maintenance services to nearly a thousand customers living in rural communities across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

This post is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the business, working generically across housing, property and business support functions providing high levels of customer service.

Your main duties will include:

To deal with customer enquiries by telephone, on-line and through social media channels and respond to callers and visitors with courtesy and efficiency.

To deal with initial tenancy management, rent and service charge enquiries.

To process incoming and outgoing mail.

To maintain tenant, property and applicant files by filing and drawing up the necessary documents.

To assist in the administration of the property function, including taking repairs and maintenance requests, processing orders, recording feedback and maintaining appropriate records in an orderly and up-to-date manner.

To provide administration support for all compliance activities.

To keep records, process data and compile reports.

To carry out filing ensuring that the filing and recording systems are kept up to date.

To provide administrative support to other members of staff.

To undertake appropriate training as agreed with the Housing Officer.

To ensure that CRHA’s Equality and Diversity policy is implemented at all times.

To develop and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues and contribute towards a continuous improvement in the service.

This position is temporary and offers an immediate start.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week and is office based.
You will get 25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays.

The Salary is - £23,527.28 per annum (with a pay award pending).
