This Friday, CRHA Property Services Officer Steve Hudson will be taking on a 109km charity walk setting off from Westward Ho! at 6pm, walking through the night along the Tarka Trail, towards Okehampton, across Dartmoor, and aiming to reach Paignton within 24 hours 💪
That’s 68 miles with no sleep—an incredibly tough endurance challenge but for a great cause which is the Devon Clinic CIC who offer much needed mental health support to those that cannot afford it. After a demanding 50-mile training walk (and plenty of blisters 😅), he’s hoping some newly discovered “game changer” merino toe socks will make all the difference this time.
Steve is taking part as a group of 5 men from the Bude Wellness Warriors, a group focused on raising awareness around men’s mental health, wellbeing, and the power of community. The aim is to push limits, build resilience, and highlight what’s possible when people come together and commit to meaningful challenges.
